The ‘Shadow Illusion’ is a time and place in which great things, life changing things and heart warming things are fashioned; stroke by stroke, bit by bit, touch by touch a work of art is created out of a wisp of a thought, a strand of imagination… The ‘Shadow Illusionist’ is the Creator who performs these feats; meticulously crafting, moulding, shaping and creating perfection... for nothing less will do for me. Thanks to digital technology, I discovered and developed an intuitive process of manipulating colours, adding textures and building layers, until the unlimited possibilities, depth and potential of the photograph began to emerge organically. Over time, I learned and refined specific techniques with the intention of advancing my chosen profession in the world of fashion and commercial advertising. Since then, I have dodged and burned my way across various magazine spreads and catalogues. I have been challenged by photographers and art directors to create imagery, to visualise dreams, to personify perfection and reach beyond the ordinary - and I have, loving every single minute of the journey. I have heard my calling and played a pivotal role in the digital art and commercial advertising industry since 2001.
